Basic Challenge Course Facilitation

This 35 hour course is designed to teach participants the basic technical and facilitation skills to safely operate a challenge course under supervision.
(We follow ACCT Standards)
Dates: March 28, 29, April 25, May 2, & 9
On March 28th you may stay over in our lodge then continue with the program on the 29th or leave at 5:00pm and be back at the lodge by 9:30am.
Snow Day = May 16th

The Guide for Challenge Course Operations: An Essential Reference for Challenge Course Practitioners by Bob Ryan
Topics will include: Belaying Techniques, Knots & Rope Work, Risk Management, Spotting, Element Set-up, Program Design, Facilitation Basics, Group Process, Simple Rescue, Games and Initiatives.
